We are deeply saddened by the news of Claire's death. Claire was our next door neighbor and close friend for 44 years. She was one of the hardest working women we've known still doing most of her own yard work up until her 80's. One year we came home from a vacation and Claire, in her seventies, was shoveling our driveway so we could get in. Her and her husband Bob were a great looking couple who would do anything for us and we enjoyed sharing many of our family events with them through the years. Having sold our home next door to her recently, and now losing Claire, really marks the end of a wonderful time in our lives.

Our deepest sympathy to her family,
Wayne & Susan Simmons

Very sorry to hear this. My condolences to Joyce and Bobby. The last time I ran into Claire she didn't recognize me, but it had been a long, long time since she'd seen me. I'll always remember the long ride in her little car to the 1964 world's fair in NY. She talked all the way down and all the way back, pretty much without taking a breath. She was a very nice lady.
