William Ames Anderson 83, 0f Brockton, MA died Thursday, January 29, 2015.  He was the beloved husband of Barbara L. (Souther) Anderson of over 55 years.
Born Friday, May 8, 1931 in Quincy, MA he was the son of the late Frank and Emma (HoH) Anderson.
Bill served in the National Guard and was employed by Cork Engineering and the Boston Globe. He enjoyed a good game of cribbage, working around the house and word search puzzles.
In addition to his beloved wife Barbara he is survived by his sons Paul Anderson and Mark Anderson, and daughter Gail Tenney and her husband Douglas; six grandchildren Steven Anderson, Andrew Tenney, Megan Anderson, Elizabeth Anderson, Ben Tenney and Christine Tenney; 3 brothers: Albert, Lewis and Gerald and 1 sister, Sandra.
Visitation will take place on February 10, 2015 from 11 - 12 noon with a funeral service to follow at 12 Noon.   Interment will follow in Hanover Central Cemetery.

Barbara, Paul, Mark, and Gail. My sincere condolences on the loss of your husband and father. I will always remember Bill as a great neighbor and our many conversations over the backyard fence. He will be missed.
