Over the years, she had many other jobs including Howard-Johnson's, Tupperware, Visiting Nurses of Carroll County in Conway, NH and H&R Block. She retired in July after working for 13 years at the University of Rhode Island.  While she had many hobbies including traveling and relaxing at the family cabin in Glen, New Hampshire, she really loved spending time with her family and friends. A highlight of the past few years was celebrating with family and old friends at her and David’s 50th Anniversary party in June 2014.

In addition to her husband David, she is survived by her daughter Katherine A. Olson and husband Erik of West Roxbury, MA; her daughter Susan V. Kate and Erik:
I'm so sorry to hear of Kate's mom's passing; my thoughts are with you both at this time. I'm sure this is really difficult for Tom and Maggie as well; but glad to know they had their grandmother close by for these recent months and were able to make some cherished memories.

My sincerest condolences to Dave and the girls and families. Ginny was a treasured part of " The Block " ( as she would say ) family here at the Bald Hill office. I personally was very attached to her and my heart is broken. She is smiling down from Heaven on us all. This I'm sure.
