Diane F. (Chartier) Nickerson, 56 of Middleboro, MA passed away September 28th, 2016.

She was the daughter of the late Francis A. and Rita F. (Lynch) Chartier.  Devoted mother of Tyler F. Nickerson of Middleboro and former wife of Richard “Nick” Nickerson of Middleboro. 

Diane graduated from Lexington High School and went onto study at Northeastern University graduating from UMass Boston in 1986 with her Bachelors Degree.  She was an accomplish CPA and crunching numbers was her thing.  She worked for several area firms before starting her own local independent accounting practice. 

Diane’s number one love was for her son Tyler who was her pride and joy.

In addition to her son Tyler she was the beloved sister of Lela Rhodes and her husband Gary of Shirley, MA, Richard Benson and his wife Cindy of Dedham, ME, Robert Benson and his partner Thomas Byron of Bolton, Judith Somers and her husband Edward of Lagrange ME, the late Francis Chartier and his wife Kathleen of Falmouth, Edward Chartier and his wife Michelle of Lakeville, Ronald Chartier and his wife Angela of Baltimore MD, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Her love and generosity for her family and friends was unmatched and she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 8:30 – 11:30 AM in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in Sacred Heart Church in Middleboro.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given in Diane’s name to Beth Israel Hospital, Oncology, 330 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215.
