Marcelino G. Veiga, 62, of Brockton, MA passed away October 6th, 2016. He was the son of the late Manuel Veiga and the late Clara (Gomes) Veiga.  Beloved Husband of Irma Martins Veiga and devoted Father of Mark Veiga, Matthew Veiga, Liza Veiga, and Marcelino A. Veiga.

Marcelino Veiga came from humble beginnings, born and raised in Fogo, Cape Verde. He was an extremely hardworking man who was dedicated to his family and loved ones. He was a man who loved to watch things grow, as an avid gardener there wasn’t a plant he couldn’t bring to life. He was also a man who loved to dance and spin everyone across the dance floor. Not only was he a loyal and faithful employee of Double E and Company, he was also loyal to the New England Patriots. He never missed a day of work and he never missed a Patriots Game.

In addition to his wife and children, Marcelino is survived by his grandchildren, siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 12th from 5pm-8pm in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 647 Main Street Brockton, Ma 02301.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9am on October 13th at St. Edith Stein Parish 71 E Main St Brockton, MA. Interment will be at Melrose Cemetery.
