Donna Louise Ventura, 71 of Lakeville, MA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 23, 2017.  She was the Wife of David A Ventura.

Born December 18, 1946 in Dorchester, Ma she was the Daughter of the late Joseph E. Rhodes and Virginia Luyckx.

Donna was a graduate of Abington High School Class of '64. For the last 31 years she has called Lakeville her home. Throughout her life she was a waitress, daycare employee, Majorette Advisor, and Loving Mother/Grandmother. Her passion was knitting, cross-stitching, crocheting, crafts, and most of all traveling. Donna also enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, shopping, relaxing by her pool or at the beach, and of course continued attending Majorette competitions, as the organization was a huge part of the family.

In addition to her husband David A Ventura she is survived by her children Kimberley Mitchell, Edward Ventura and Beth Ventura; Grandchildren Danielle Ventura, Brandon Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell, Michael Ventura and Nicholas Ventura; Great Grandchildren Vincent Scansaroli and Madison Mitchell. She is also survived by her are her Aunt Marion Burr, Sister Sharon Erickson and several nieces and nephews.

Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 4pm-8pm at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St., Lakeville, MA.

A private family funeral will be held.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
