Marian was my mother's friend from their days at Bridgewater State College. She introduced my mother to the First Lutheran Church where they started the Children's Ark Preschool. It was a joy to have her at our families annual Christmas Eve Smörgåsbord.

Sorry for your loss. I have known Marian since I was young. We attended church together. Marian took communion in the pews because she used a walker for many years after falling in the church parking lot and she couldn't take communion at the altar. I remember the church ministers used to give communion in the pews.

I knew Marian though my membership in Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a truly lovely person and always dedicated to the many worthy causes she served. It was a pleasure to know her.
