Nancy Norcross, 91 of Bridgewater, MA passed away December 4, 2018 after a brief illness. Born in Brockton, MA she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Dorathea (Thomas) Norcross.

Nancy was a graduate of Brockton High School and had lived in Brockton until 2004 when she moved to Bridgewater. After graduating from high school she went to work for “Ma Bell” as a telephone operator and spent her whole career rising through the ranks, and moving into management. She retired form Ma Bell after 30+ years of service and was a member of the Pioneers. Nancy thoroughly enjoyed her retirement.

Nancy loved bing creative, and enjoyed knitting, sewing and all different kinds of crafts. She was also a collector of Snoopy (and the whole Peanuts Gang), Mickey Mouse, Dolls, and all kinds of crafts. She was quite the decorator and her home was always like a showplace for all her collections. She was also a member of Christ Congregational Church in Brockton.

She is survived by her nephew Kirk Paulson, and his daughter Sarah Paulson; her niece Nancy Christine Paulson VanHoy and her husband Robert VanHoy, their daughters Teri Balser and Amy Balser O’Hayer and her husband Sean O’Hayer and their four children - grand-nieces Lyric, Jaylee, Teaghan and grand-nephew Xander and her niece Carla Paulson Mason and her wife Kathy Marple and great niece Caitlyn Mason and great nephew Luke Mason. Nancy is also survived by her adopted family Randi and Skip Ives and their children Nick, Michelle and Matt. She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Marjorie Norcross Paulson and her husband C. Robert Paulson and nephew Alan Paulson.

Nancy will be sorely missed by her family and friends who remember her smile, her love and anything Snoopy, her fabulous shrimp dip, raspberry turnovers and dishes of M&Ms spread throughout her house. We will laugh as we reminisce about her daily delivery from QVC and knowing the UPS driver by name.

At Nancy’s request her services will be private.
