There could never be a more genuine, honest and hard working person than John.I met him 30 years ago when I was frantically looking to find the nearest car shop for a cracked block and stumbled across his shop.He became my mechanic ever since then.I will miss him terribly, not only as my mechanic but as a really good friend.
Rest in peace.

John, you were our neighbor for many years until we moved. Michael and Kyle were like our adopted kids. They hung out at our house most of the time and would bring other friends over with them. They grew up with our kids and remain friends today. They are more like brothers to our kids rather than friends. Rest in peace you will be missed. Judy & Steve Shepley.

My Dearest John,
My heart is filled with so many memories of you growing up which evolved into an amazing 45 year friendship. It started with "babysitting" you which I never understood cause we're only 2 years apart but we always had so much fun. I watched you grow into an incredible man, husband and father. As the years have passed we took every opportunity to visit one another whenever I was back "home". Thank you for being such a loyal friend.
Please say hello to your mom, grandmother and my mom for me. I have no doubt y'all are together in Heaven having a wonderful time.
I love you so very much and look forward to seeing you again driving your 55 chevy on the streets of gold.
