Music by The Piano Brothers

Daryl Michaelle Perkins born July 25,1977 passed away on April 4, 2019 following a period of failing health with her heart and lungs.

Daryl was the daughter of Paula L Perkins and step-father, Robert of East Taunton and Ronald E. Riseman and step-mother Susan of Sacramento. Daryl is survived by two sons, Calvin E. DeMoranville III, 21 and his wife, Christina and Tyler Michael Perkins, 22 months old, also her sister, Randi A. Riseman of Middleboro, her brothers, Corey D. Riseman and his wife, Melanie of Orangevale, California and Benjamin R. Perkins of East Taunton. Daryl also leaves behind her niece and closest friend, Taran M. Riseman of Plymouth as well as her nieces, Droslynne Hebard of Norton, Averey, Aubrey, Reece and Chloe Riseman of Orangevale, California and her uncles, Bruce Riseman of Placerville, California, Edward Riseman and Nick Scott of London, England.

Daryl graduated from Bristol-Aggie High School in 1995 and was a member of the National Honor Society. After graduating, Daryl attended Massasoit Community College in Brockton studying Accounting.

Daryl worked a few different jobs, She was a bank teller for a short time, later working quite a few years at Super place, Stop and Shop and Walmart. Daryl enjoyed spending time with her sons and anytime spent with her niece, Taran, who was very special to her. Daryl had a huge heart wanting always to help others. She seemed to have a special knack for walking into trouble reaching out to the wrong people. As a result, Daryl found herself unable to stay free of the addiction crisis. Unfortunately for Daryl, her body reacted negatively quickly and she developed COPD/ asthma and congestive heart and lung disease. Although she was free of drugs at the time of her death, the disease she developed as a result ultimately took her life.

Daryl kept life interesting, always seeking something better, bigger, nicer, cheaper not just for herself but for everyone around her that had a need. She had difficulties grasping the idea of limitation and could not understand why happiness and acceptance did not exist equally for everyone. The family is devastated and although we will miss her deeply we pray that she has hopefully found peace and a place free of pain and suffering.

Services will be held at Dahlborg-McNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford Street/ Rte 18, Lakeville, MA on Friday, April 12, 2019. Calling hours are from 4 pm to 6 pm with Daryl’s service to follow at 6:00 PM.

At the conclusion of the service, family and friends are invited to attend our post-funeral reception at the Elks Lodge in Middleboro where we hope you will enjoy something to eat and share time with family.
