Marilyn V. Rogan deeply loved sister and aunt, passed away April 13, 2019 at the age of 75, after a long illness.

Born in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, England, Marilyn immigrated to the states in 1963, and became a U.S. citizen in the mid-1990s. She was a devout Catholic and avid animal lover who enjoyed traveling abroad, knitting, cross stich, photography, and spending time with her family. She supported many charities generously throughout the years, especially those focused on animals. Marilyn was employed by State Street corporation in Quincy for nearly 40 years.

She is survived by her sisters: Kathleen Wesley and her husband Paul, Sandra Josselyn and her husband Lee, Rosemary Bartell and her husband Kenny, and her sister-in-law Patricia Rogan. She is also survived by an abundance of loving nieces and nephews. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents William and Sarah (Cutler) Rogan, her sister Patricia (Rogan) Delekta and her husband John, her sister Sheila (Rogan) Carter and her husband Norman, and her brother Terrance Rogan.

Marilyn’s family would like to thank the staff at Nemasket Health Care Center in Middleboro for the kind care that they provided her while staying there.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on April 27, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Saint Martha and Mary’s Church in Lakeville.

So very sorry to hear of Mal's passing. It is some years since we last saw Mal as we have not been to the USA for some time. She was a lovely lady (and my cousin) and it is with great sadness that we cannot be with you all for the funeral. I am sending my love and prayers to you all and to Mal. With Love, Kathy & Chris
