C. Stetson Thomas, Jr., 88, beloved husband of Nancy (Lewoczko) Thomas passed away on March 6, 2020. He was born in 1931 in Middleboro, Massachusetts to Clyde Stetson, Sr. and Cora (Staples) Thomas.
 
“Stet” graduated from Middleborough High School in 1949, attended Wilbraham Academy in Wilbraham, Ma from 1949-1950 and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA in 1954 with a B.S. in Economics.
 
In a candlelight ceremony on December 24, 1952, Stet and Nancy were married at the Central Congregational Church in Middleborough, Ma. and resided in Lakeville, MA. He was the president of the Clyde S. Thomas Insurance Agency of Middleborough, MA founded by his father. For several years he owned and operated Middleborough Travel Service along with his daughter, Susan.
 
In earlier years, he was a member of the Middleboro Jaycees, and the Middleboro Ski Club. He was an avid philatelist and a member of the American Philatelic Society. He was on the board of the Middleborough Savings Bank, was involved with a number of local organizations and served as the Lakeville Town Moderator.
 
He loved sunsets, snowstorms, dancing, cookouts at the Lake and his family. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, watching movies, the Bruins and Patriots. But most of all, he loved his high school sweetheart, Nancy. He is survived by Nancy, his wife of 67 years, his brother Jim Thomas and wife Anne (Lynde) of Middleborough, his sister Deborah Danforth of Hingham, MA and three daughters; Susan Schiff and her husband, Arthur of Amagansett, NY; Lisa Thomas and her life partner, Neal Dwyer of Norton,MA, and Deborah Green and her husband, Paul of Newton, MA. Grandchildren Jeffrey and Robin Kaminski of Douglas, MA and Julian and Lydia Green of Newton, MA; great grandchildren Julia and Logan Kaminski and nieces and nephews around the country.
 
We will all miss him dearly.
 
Memorial Visitation will be held at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, Lakeville, MA on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM.  Funeral Service has been omitted.
