Rosina “Rose” (Tedeschi) Benoir of Taunton, MA passed away peacefully on May 29, 2020 at the age of 81.  She was the wife of 53 years to the late Merle “Ben” E. Benoir.

Rose was born November 2, 1939 in East Boston and was the daughter of the late Gerardo and Conchetta (Sulprizio) Tedeschi. 

She was raised in Revere and was a graduate of Lawrence High School Class of 1957.  She enjoyed a 25-year career as a C.N.A. and was a dedicated wife and loving mother.  Ben and Rose loved traveling and she loved to read and do puzzles in her spare time but most of all she loved spending time with her granddaughters, family and friends.

Rose is survived by her son Troy G. Benoir and his wife Debra M.; two granddaughters Katelynn Rose Benoir and Breanna Viola Benoir; two great grandsons Elijah Merle Bailey and Lincoln James Dominick; a niece Linda Morante; a nephew Joseph Morante; great nephews Michael and Edward Morante and a great niece Grace.  She was also the sister of the late Camille Morante Pulisciano.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
