Elizabeth L. Sarty, 76, from Bridgewater, died suddenly on July 23, 2020, of a heart attack. She was the wife of Weston M. Sarty.
Elizabeth was born in Brockton on Sept. 28, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Herman O. & Mary H. (Mack) Parry. She grew up in Lakeville and graduated from Apponequet High School in 1962. Elizabeth and Weston were married in 1970. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting blankets, going to her ceramic classes, family game nights and spending the weekends in New Hampshire.
She is survived by her children: Gail & James McKinnon of Taunton, Edward & Lisa Sarty of Bridgewater, Peggy Sarty & John Levy of Bridgewater, and Linda & Craig Clapp of Middleboro. Her Grandchildren: Dylan Richardson, Robert Holyoke III, Donald McKinnon, David & Alyssa Sarty. She is also survived by her sister Cathryn Faulkner of Lakeville, also by Nieces, a Nephew, Great Nieces, Great Nephews and several Cousins.
Public Memorial Visitation will take place on Monday, August 3, 2020 from 5-7 PM in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St., Lakeville, MA.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday August 4, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Everyone is welcome to meet at the Funeral Home at 9:15 and follow over to Howland Cemetery in Lakeville
