Ruth Catherine (Bavin) Hall passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2020 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.  Ruth was the wife of the late Henry C. Hall.  Ruth was born in Quincy, Massachusetts and has been a lifelong (51 years) resident of Lakeville, MA.  Ruth was pre-deceased by her mother, Katherine Irma (Bersani) Bavin and her father, William Arthur Bavin.
Ruth graduated from Quincy High School, and pursued careers at General Dynamics, Northrop Company and Foxboro Company, where she met her partner in life, Henry.
Ruth raised and is survived by her three children; Leanne Hall Hyder and her husband John R. Hyder, James Hall, and Michelle Hall Bringle and her husband Erik J. Bringle.  She will forever be cherished by her grandchildren; Austin Hyder, Kaici Hyder Baker, Seth Baker, Dakota Bringle, Henry Hyder, Henry Bringle and her great granddaughter Kidagakash (Kida) Hyder and great grandson Graesyn Wollweber Hyder.  Ruth will forever be in the hearts of her siblings; William and Karen Bavin, Thomas and Shelba Bavin, and Steven and Cheryl Bavin, as well as her many nieces and nephews.
Among Ruth’s favorites was to spend time with family and friends.  She spent cherished time in Marco Island, FL., as well as at her home in Lakeville.  She treasured her friendships dearly and always looked forward to her coffee dates, lunches, mystery rides, and Saturday night dinners on the Cape and in Milton.  She will be dearly missed by all.
The family invites you to the viewing to be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 PM.

In lieu flowers, donations to a cancer research charity of your choice in Ruth’s memory would be greatly appreciated.

Leann, Jimmy, & Michele, all of Ruth's siblings, & her entire family & friends, my thoughts & prayers are with all of you. I do know how you feel since I lost my husband in May. Believe me this is an extremely rough time for all of us that loved & admired Ruth. I remember the family gatherings at her home. She was a warm, loving, caring person to everyone. I don't think she ever met a stranger & helped everyone she knew in many different ways. This is one woman who will be extremely missed. She was definitely "One Of The Good Ones". May God give you all the strength & faith to continue on as Ruth would have wanted.

Michelle and Family,
Dad and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Losing our family is never easy but we can thank God for all the wonderful memories He gives us to hold onto until we are reunited.
We never had the pleasure of meeting your mother but she must have been a special lady because she raised such a sweet daughter. Love her smile, it lights up her eyes.
With Love and Prayers, Mom and Pop Roman
