Irene M Trieger 86, of Middleboro, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Trieger 

Born in Boston, MA on July 12, 1934, she was raised in Weymouth by the late Charles Armstrong and the late Irene Armstrong. 

She attended St Gregory’s High School in Dorchester.  She lived in Abington before moving to Florida then settling in Middleboro for the past 13 years. She worked at New England Art in Abington in the printing department. Irene loved knitting, crossword puzzles and going to the casinos every now and then, but her passion was her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her Loving children Thomas E. Roberts of Abington and William A. Roberts, and his wife Diane Roberts of Lakeville. Irene was the proud grandmother of, Jessica Lynne Wachtel and her husband Rick, Jason Roberts and his wife Tayla, Shaun Roberts and his wife Merri, Kristin Fortin and her husband Ronald, Justin Roberts and his wife Karen and Brian Roberts and his wife Samantha. Irene was the great grandmother of Lynne, Blake, Angelina, Brayden, Jason, Natalie, Corrinne, Vincent, Wesley, Declan, Joshua, Harrison and Hazel and the great great grandmother of Remy. She is also survived by her siblings Charles Armstrong and his wife Jane of Florida, Cheryl Moloney and her husband James of Weymouth as well many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 5 pm – 7 pm.in Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford St Lakeville, MA

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday August 29, 2020 at 9:00 am  in Saint Bridget’s Church, Abington, MA.  Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Abington.

Mom, you are missed so much already, We are blessed to have had you for our mom all these years and I know you know how much we loved you as we know how much you loved us. I know your here with us in spirit and I will always know deep in my heart you loved all of us with such passion, you had a keen desire to help anyway you could.
