Francis Donald Bettencourt, 73, of Middleboro, MA died August 30, 2020 when he lost his battle with Dementia.  He was the loving husband of Patricia (Amaral) Bettencourt.

Fran spent many years helping in his community, you might have seen him taking tickets at the MHS basketball games or at the back gate at the high school football games at Battis Field and volunteered for the PMC ride at the Lakeville stop.  He also volunteered at the COA.  Fran truly had a love for animals known to his nieces as the “dog whisper”.

In addition to his wife Pat he was the loving father of Lynn and her husband Bryan Keith of Huntersville, NC and Joseph of Los Angeles, CA.  He was also the brother to Charles S.
