M. Shirley Jordan, 94, of Bridgewater, MA passed away on Wednesday September 9, 2020.  She was born and raised in Taunton, MA, the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (Brennan) McGinn.  She was the loving wife of George “Buck” Jordan who predeceased her in 2019.  They were married for 71 years.

Shirley worked part time in the Bridgewater school system as an audio/visual technician.  Consequently, she was remembered for years after as the “eye and ear lady”.

She is survived by her children Linda Heath of Falmouth, Janice Kazlauski (Edward) of Lakeville, Barry Jordan (Celine) of Nashua, NH and William Jordan of Bridgewater (formally of San Diego, CA).  She was predeceased by her son George “Doc” Jordan, Jr in 2008.  She leaves 9 grandchildren:  David Jordan, Kerry Kazlauski, Kristi Kazlauski, Adam Kazlauski, Craig Jordan, Christopher Jordan, Stephen Jordan, George Jordan III and Stephanie Henderson.  13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She also leaves her surviving siblings Eleanor Henderson of Taunton and Ronald McGinn of Brockton.

There will be no services at this time.  The family will have a celebration of her life at a later date.

Donations made be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.

To the Jordan family......your Mom /Grandmother was an amazing woman. She was quite the fighter right to the end. I will cherish all the fun times that I spent growing up at your parents house. You all were very lucky to have her for all these years. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and love go out to you all at this sad time.

To the Jordan family: My sincere condolences on the loss of your dear Mother. As your babysitter when we were all younger, I remember her, your late Dad, and their children all very well. They were a wonderful couple and raised an admirable family that I loved. My prayers go out to all of you. God bless.

J.J. and the Jordan clan. In behalf of the Cloutier tribe, I'm so sorry, you can be sure your Mother and Dad are together again. They did their "tour." They can rest now. Your parents like ours, really paid their dues raising these two "broods." I promise you they will be in our prayers. As the Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Council #488 you can be sure you ALL will be in our prayers. "May God be will you and with your Spirit."
