Anna Maria (Frask) Nowicki, 86, passed away peacefully in her home November 4, 2020. She
was born April 8, 1934 outside of Lviv, Poland to Wojciech and Valeria (Golis) Frask. She was
preceded in death by her devoted husband of 42 years, Bronislaw Nowicki.

In 1961, with her young family, she immigrated to the U.S. settling in Dorchester, MA. She
briefly worked at the Schrafft’s Chocolate factory in Charlestown, MA before embarking on a
long and well-respected career as an electronic technician, first with Di/An Controls in
Dorchester, MA, moving on to GTE Sylvania, Spears Associates/Sippican Inc, and ultimately
retiring from Lockheed Martin, Marion, MA.

Anna Maria was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith and especially the Blessed Mother. She
loved to cook, garden, dance and entertain guests as well as volunteer at church and Polish
community functions.  But her greatest love was connecting with family and friends.

She is survived by her two beloved children: her son, Thomas and his daughter Jillian and her wife Kendra of Duxbury, MA and his partner Cindy Leary; her daughter Lila with husband, James Lizotte of Lakeville, MA  and their children Matthew and Emma. She also leaves behind her closest nephew Dr.
Valdemar Welz, his wife Elzbieta and their children Nika, Max and Tosia. She is also survived by
many other dear family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

She will be remembered as an angel that lived true. May her memory be carried on in the
legacy of her love, which is now a part of the many lives she touched.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 8, 2020 from 3-5pm in the Dahlborg-MacNevin
Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St., Lakeville, MA.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 9, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd, East Freetown, MA. Internment will follow in Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree, MA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to The Polish Cultural Foundation: pcfboston.
org, Compassionate Care Hospice: amedisys.com, or a charity of your choice.

It is with great sadness that we learn our cousin and aunt Marisia has passed away and we offer our deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. Although we lived in cities distant from each other, her hospitality, generosity and warmth left a lasting impression that will not be forgotten. Whether it involved long discussions about life or the gracious use of her vast cooking skills to make for a memorable evening, she had a way of making you feel special while also putting you at ease. Her uplifting impact on those around her is clearly reflected in her children, Tom and Lila, some of the finest people we know. She was truly loved and will be sorely missed. The Kot Family.

Lila, please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of your Mom. I remember her so well from the many times she was with the kids at the dance studio. She was such a warm, loving person. I will not be able to attend the services as I am in Florida. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

So sad to hear about Anna's passing. I'm so glad that I got to know her over the past eight years as a regular participant in the Bridgewater Community Dance program. Anna always had a smile on her face and danced with eagerness and effervescence. She brought great joy to our group. May she rest in peace!
