Diane (Morland) Pettey, 78, of Lakeville, MA passed away November 28, 2020 after a short illness. She was the wife of the late George W. “Fred” Pettey.
Born February 9, 1942 in Boston she was the daughter of the late George and Victoria (Bonzeck) Morland.
Diane had been a long time resident of Lakeville and a graduate of Apponequet Regional High School. She enjoyed knitting, needle cross, making Christmas ornaments and jewelry, cooking and loved the ocean and seafood. She was also an avid Red Sox Fan and enjoyed going out to eat with her friends Diane Gudmundsson and Brenda Hamilton.
Diane is survived by three children Shannon Pettey and his fiancée Jan Killion, Erick Pettey and Shane Pettey; 3 grandchildren Jacob, Gage and Cole Pettey; a sister Nancy Adams and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Jannett, Clair and George.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday December 2, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Clark Cemetery in Lakeville.
