George Harden “Peanut” Pease, 74, of Middleboro, MA passed away December 4, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family after a long illness. He was the husband of Denise Marie (Dutra) Pease of 46 years.
Born October 21, 1946 in Brockton he was the son of the late George and Frances Pease.
George was raised in Brockton and was a 1965 graduate of Brockton High School and has lived in Middleboro for the past 38 years. He worked as a truck driver for several lumber companies in the area and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. George and Denise also volunteered as a driver for the Paralyzed Veterans of American, New England Chapter. He enjoyed bowling and playing cribbage.
In addition to his wife Denise he is survived by 3 children Dawn Storoy and her husband Hans of Taunton, Stephanie Cristina and her husband Paul of Whitman and George H. Pease, Jr. and his wife Carrie of East Taunton; 10 grandchildren Hans Storoy II, Kelsey-lyn Storoy, Ethan-Cole Storoy, Brittney Cristina, Paul Cristina, Jr., Reese Cristina, Jordan Pease, Ava Pease, Mariah Smith and Karlie Smith; 4 great-grandchildren Samuel Storoy, Harrison Storoy, Mathias Edwards and the late Lilyana Storoy; a brother Thomas Pease; a sister Helen Nash and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousin and friends. He was also the brother of the late Judy Will, Robert Pease and Richard Pease.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 4-6 PM followed by a service at 6:00 PM.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday December 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Please note that anyone attending should meet at the cemetery at 9:45 AM
