My condolences to your family. I live at the end of Plymouth Street enjoyed talking to Wendell when he used to drive his wheel chair down to the end of the street. We had a few laughs I had taken a year off from working he always enjoyed just hanging and watching me do various things around the yard. Rest in peach Wendell.

Condolences to all the Goodwin family. I knew Mr. Goodwin, when he was Director of Facilities, for Freetown-Lakeville schools. He was a good man, a true character, and very good at his job. His sense of humor and irony, and his pipe endeared him to many of us staff, at the high school. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

I had the honor of knowing Wendell from school. He was the first person I’d see every day. He and Sally were wonderful, hard working people. He was a kind man and a compassionate family man. May he Rest In Peace. Deepest sympathies to his entire family!

So sorry to hear of Wendell’s passing. My condolences to Wendell’s family. Wendell was my mentor for all things “Beagle” when I first entered the sport and I treasure the times I ran dogs with him at Bridgewater and Carver. I also treasure my times in the Goodwin kitchen with Wendell and Sally talking local politics, how to fix the school system, Swansea and the general Lakeville gossip of the day. I’ll always remember him with his ever present hat and pipe and good nature. Wendell was a genuine good man.

With love and sympathy to the family I remember Wendell as a friend whenevr he stopped by the library at Apponequet. Wendell and I worked together to facilitate the new Library at Apponequet and with the many graduations held at Apponequet over the years until 2011.
I also remember his wife when she worked on the painting of the Library.

My heartfelt sincere and deepest sympathy to Wendell's family. I was very saddened to hear of his loss. Always had great conversations with Wendell regarding his many sports interests such as his fishing and hunting and, of course, always talking about his family. I worked with Wendell at the high school for many years and always considered him a good friend. He was a great guy and we will always remember him. Prayers and thoughts to the family.

I met Wendell at the Middlle School where I taught for many years. HE was basically in charge of the whole facility and did a fantastic job. He took extreme care of the building and had become a really good friend. He always had a smile on his face and I spent many cups of coffe with him when time allowed. Since I grew up in the city before coming to Lakeville it was always refreshing to here about the country folklore. Rest in peace my friend and my his family be welland safe
