Robert (Bob) E. Brady, aged 84, of Lakeville, Mass died at Morton Hospital on December 28, 2020 due to complications of the COVID virus. He was the husband of the late Marilyn (Dearring) Brady.
Born and raised in Taunton, he was the son of the late Clarence and Florence (Burgess) Brady and a graduate of Monsignor James Coyle High School, class of 1954.
He leaves behind a true Brady Bunch: Sisters Carol Whalen of Georgia, Sharon Caldeira and husband Leo of Pocasset; late brother James, and Maureen Marques of Wareham; daughter Karleen Masse and her husband Fred of Taunton; Robert E. Brady Jr. and his companion Linda Burke of Wareham; Jeannine Hasson of Gainesville, FL; Deidre Morelli of West Rotunda, FL; Scott Brady of Lakeville; Kelly Rego and her husband Dino of Assonet; 12 Grandchildren and 11 (and counting) great-grandchildren. He was also the father of the late Paul Brady and brother of the late James Brady
Bob worked for twenty-two years at Hemingway Transport of New Bedford and then "retired" to work as the custodian at the parish of Sts Martha and Mary in Lakeville, where he devoted much of his time fulfilling other rolls such as Eucharistic Minister, usher at Sunday masses and BINGO worker for many years. He was also an honorary life member of the Middleboro-Lakeville Knights of Columbus and Sir Knight of the Robert Buchan Assembly. A member of the Mitchell Memorial Club of Middleboro, Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time visiting family.
