Robert (Bob) E. Brady, aged 84, of Lakeville, Mass died at Morton Hospital on December 28, 2020 due to complications of the COVID virus.  He was the husband of the late Marilyn (Dearring) Brady.

Born and raised in Taunton, he was the son of the late Clarence and Florence (Burgess) Brady and a graduate of Monsignor James Coyle High School, class of 1954.

He leaves behind a true Brady Bunch: Sisters Carol Whalen of Georgia, Sharon Caldeira and husband Leo of Pocasset; late brother James, and Maureen Marques of Wareham; daughter Karleen Masse and her husband Fred of Taunton; Robert E. Brady Jr. and his companion Linda Burke of Wareham; Jeannine Hasson of Gainesville, FL; Deidre Morelli of West Rotunda, FL; Scott Brady of Lakeville; Kelly Rego and her husband Dino of Assonet; 12 Grandchildren and 11 (and counting) great-grandchildren.   He was also the father of the late Paul Brady and brother of the late James Brady

Bob worked for twenty-two years at Hemingway Transport of New Bedford and then "retired" to work as the custodian at the parish of Sts Martha and Mary in Lakeville, where he devoted much of his time fulfilling other rolls such as Eucharistic Minister, usher at Sunday masses and BINGO worker for many years. He was also an honorary life member of the Middleboro-Lakeville Knights of Columbus and Sir Knight of the Robert Buchan Assembly. A member of the Mitchell Memorial Club of Middleboro, Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time visiting family.

Robert’s Celebration of Life will be announced on this webpage as soon as Covid-19 allows.

To Bob's Family...AKA 'the Brady Bunch'. Sts.M&M will miss seeing him at the alter, and as usher during Covid. We express our deepest sympathy to the family. We have known your dad for a long time. He is certainly in a better place with the Lord and all of his loved ones. God bless you all.

To the Brady Family
Your Mom & Dad were the first neighbors to welcome us to Lakeville and
Sts Martha & Mary.
We knew and admired them as parents and members of the Church.
May they rest in eternal peace and happiness.

I was so sad to hear of Bob's passing. He did SO much for SO many. He was a volunteer meals on wheels driver and a volunteer medical driver at the Lakeville COA for 12 plus years . He had a heart of GOLD and will surely be missed by many. I know he had a special place in my heart and I will forever cherish all of our laughs and fun memories....
Please know Bob was a GREAT man & will be missed!!
