Joseph Carver Kelley, age 76, passed away Wednesday February 10, 2021 at the V.A. Medical Center in West Roxbury, MA. Born on Friday December 1, 1944 in Plymouth MA, Joseph was the son of the late John J. Jr. and Achsah Carver (Hatch) Kelley. Joe graduated from Marshfield High School class of 1962 and has been a resident of Lakeville for the past 5 years. Joe proudly served in the United States Air Force and later worked as a Plant Manager for Halliday Lithograph, (a division of Arcadia Graphics) before his retirement. A member of the V.F.W., the Upland Club, the Mitchell Memorial Club, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also volunteered his time at the V.A. Hospital, the Council on Aging, and Hospice. Playing golf was something else he enjoyed doing.  Joseph is survived by his children; Thomas (Skip) Kelley, Jean Kelley-Plourde, and Erin Kelley, his grandchildren; Dakota Plourde, and Shawn Wood, his sisters; Diane Kelley of Scituate, Juanita “Micki” (Kelley) Pearl of Marshfield. Joseph was predeceased by his son Todd Kelley. Memorial visitation for Joseph will be held on Friday February 26, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00pm at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347, a memorial service will follow immediately after the visitation at 7:00pm. A graveside service where Josephs cremains will be laid to rest will be held on Saturday February 27, 2021 at 11:00am at the Marshfield Hills Cemetery in Marshfield.
