Michael Lee Nevens

Michael L. Nevens, age 46, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 6, 2024, in Taunton, MA. Born in Brockton, MA, on Thursday, December 29, 1977, he was the son of Kenneth L. and Nancy (Stone) Nevens. Michael grew up in Bridgewater and was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School. He was a former resident of Lakeville, MA, and most recently lived in Canon City, CO. After graduating from high school, Michael joined the Sheetmetal Workers Union, Local 17, where he finished his apprenticeship and worked as a manager for J.C. Cannistraro. When he wasn’t working, Michael had several interests that would occupy his free time like fishing, mountain biking, riding motorcycles and racing. His favorite though was spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents Kenneth and Nancy, Michael is survived by his wife Kristy L. Nevens, sons Eion Michael Nevens and Logan Michael Nevens, sister Lynne Nevens and her children Camryn and Jayden DenBesten, stepmother Michelle Nevens, stepsister Nicole Finneran, stepbrother Christopher Finneran, mother and father-in-law Hollie and David Smith, brother-in-law Michael Smith and his wife Katie and their daughter Sabine Smith. Memorial visitation for Michael will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 4:00 -7:00PM at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347.
