Sally M. Faucher, age 73, loving wife of Robert L. Faucher of almost 50 years, passed away at her home in Lakeville on Thursday, March 7, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Middleborough, on Tuesday May 23, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Beulah (Wood) Jennings. In addition to her husband Bob, Sally is survived by her son Brian Faucher and his wife Donna of Lakeville, grandsons Nathan and Cody, sister Donna Villaire and her husband Dennis of Plymouth, and nephew Jonathan Villaire of Plymouth.
Sally retired from the United States Postal Service where she worked as a mail carrier for the town of Lakeville and was affectionately known as “Mad Dog” by her coworkers and friends. Sally enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley, country music, the song “Mustang Sally” and watching the Hallmark channel, but above all, Sally cherished the time spent with family, friends, and her grandsons.
A committal service for Sally will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne once the weather warms up. Date and time of service will be posted once confirmed.
