Adele Ruth (Baronas) Lawson

Adele Ruth (Baronas) Lawson, 85, of Middleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late John A. Lawson, Sr., with whom she shared 62 wonderful years of marriage.

Born on September 21, 1940, in Boston, MA, she was the cherished daughter of the late Anthony J. and Anna F. (Vesa) Baronas. Adele dedicated her career as an order picker and packer for Talbot's Fine Clothing at their headquarters in Lakeville, MA, where her strong work ethic and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on her colleagues.

Adele will be remembered for her generosity and contagious laugh. She found joy in the company of her family, watching the Red Sox, knitting, and engaging in spirited games of cards. She was especially fond of her beloved cat, Thunder, who brought her endless companionship and joy.

Adele is survived by her devoted sons, John A. Lawson Jr. and his wife Diana, Michael A. Lawson and his wife Lisa, and Stephen F. Lawson and his wife Diana. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Rachel and Justin Orr, Joseph and Jackie Lawson, Hannah and Nicholas Swale, Anthony Lawson, and Andrew Lawson, and seven great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her beloved brother, Anthony Baronas, and his wife Paula. She was predeceased by her brother John Baronas and sister Maryann Gavin.

A private family viewing will take place at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM, followed by a private funeral service at 11:00 AM. Adele will then be laid to rest next to her late husband John, who passed away in 2024, with a private committal service at Lakenham Cemetery in Carver, MA, at 12:30 PM.

In this time of mourning, the Lawson family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and support received from friends and the community. Adele will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family.
