Andrew David Koerner, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 27, 2026, in Taunton, Massachusetts.
A longtime resident of Middleboro, Andrew was born on June 14, 1967, in Boston, Massachusetts. He was the beloved son of the late David S. Koerner and Mary L. Brown Koerner.
Andrew spent most of his life working as a union carpenter and was well known for his incredible ability to work with his hands. He took great pride in his craft and in building things that would last. In his free time, he enjoyed building model cars and fishing with his sons, Hunter and Tyler.
Andrew will always be remembered for the energy he brought wherever he went, his larger-than-life presence, and his signature saying, "beep beep zip bang," which brought smiles to so many.
He is survived by his two sons, Tyler S. Carvalho and Hunter D. Koerner. He was predeceased by his loving sister, Laurel J. Koerner Gowen.
Andrew will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
Memorial visitation for Andrew will be held on Monday May 18, 2026, from 5:00-8:00PM, at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347. Andrew will be laid to rest in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Middleboro with a private committal service.
