Ann Marie (Graney) Paulson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Marie (Graney) Paulson, age 72, beloved wife of the late Philip D. Paulson, who departed this life on June 16, 2026, in Falmouth, MA, following a courageous year-long battle with glioblastoma. Born on January 8, 1954, in Norwood, MA, she was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (O'Malley) Graney.

Ann was a dedicated educator whose passion for teaching touched the lives of many students over the years. She earned both her Bachelor's degree and Master's of Arts in Teaching from Bridgewater State College, and her career spanned various school districts, including Berkley, Dighton, Rehoboth, Taunton, and Plymouth. Even after her retirement, Ann continued to inspire others through her work as a tutor.

In addition to her commitment to education, Ann enjoyed traveling and demonstrated her caring spirit by volunteering with the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her warmth, kindness, and generous heart.

Ann is survived by her siblings: Francis Graney and his wife Natalie of Bourne, MA; Maureen Graney of Mashpee; and Paul Graney and his wife Mary of Port Charlotte, FL. She also leaves behind her beloved nephews Michael Graney, Peter Graney, and Sean Graney, as well as her niece Kara Baker.

Funeral services for Ann Marie Paulson will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM at Sts. Martha & Mary Church, located at 354 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA. Following the Mass, a graveside service will occur at Sampson Cemetery on Bedford Street in Lakeville.
