Arthur M. Meack, III

Arthur M. Meack III, age 65, husband of Robin Reynolds, passed away surrounded by his family at his home in Taunton, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, after a short, nine-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Middleborough, MA, on Saturday, September 27, 1958, he was the son of the late Arthur M. Meack Jr and Jane (Davis) Meack.

In addition to his wife Robin of East Taunton, Arthur is survived by his son Arthur M. Meack IV and his wife Christine of Taunton, daughter Ada Meack of Taunton, brother Jimmy Libby and his wife Denise of Fitchburg, sister Cheryl Reynolds and her husband Jeff of East Taunton, sister Pamela Jones of East Taunton, brother Donald Meack and his wife Debbie of Taunton, sister Gertrude Meack of Norton, brother Michael Meack and his wife Dolores of Taunton, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family. Arthur was predeceased by his daughter Sue-Ellen Meack.

Arthur proudly served his country for nine years as a member of the United States Army National Guard. He worked his entire career as a truck driver until he retired. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson, watch the races at Seekonk Speedway, and work on cars in the garage and things with his son Arthur IV. Artie was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Visitation for Arthur will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 4:00-7:00PM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 11:00AM, followed by interment at Precinct Cemetery in Lakeville where Arthur will be laid to rest next to his late daughter Sue-Ellen Meack.
