We announce that Barbara Ellen Handy (Tripp) of Lakeville, Massachusetts, born in Marion, Massachusetts was escorted by angels into the arms of Jesus, the very throne room of her Heavenly Father June 4th, 2023. We rejoice that she is free to run, to see, to dance, to bask in the father’s love for all eternity!

Barbara Ellen Handy was predeceased by; her husband William Henry Handy Sr. and predeceased children: Priscilla Prietrass (Handy), Glenn Handy, Candace Charest (Handy), William Handy Jr.

She is survived by daughters: Patsy Hathaway of Edwards, New York, Virginia Glass of Lakeville, Massachusetts, Susan Wales of Taylors, South Carolina, Mary Monjeau of Eden, North Carolina, Deborah Blaszies of Acushnet, Massachusetts, Sally Giguere of Tiverton, Rhode Island, and her grandchildren; Robert Hathaway Jr., Russell Hathaway, Sheryl Hathaway, William E. Jenkinson, William Leif Glass, Lezlie Chandler, Sarah Boehler, Robyn DaSilva, Barbara Handy-Baro, Abigail Tresidder (Pietrass), Jayne Schmidt (Pietrass) Elissa Pietrass, Amy Wales-Durrans, Tracie Lucas, Rebekah Green, David Martin, Adam Martin, Erica Monjeau, Derek Monjeau, Allison Dorschied, Richard Charest, Jedediah Sullivan, Philip Arcouette, Randall Arcouette, Matthew Blaszies, April Blaszies, Kaitlyn Blaszies, Jeremy Giguere, Jasmin Giguere, and a number of great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 14th, 2023, at 1:45pm at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne, MA 02532
