Daniel E. Silva

Daniel E. Silva, age 56, passed away unexpectedly Monday March 14, 2022, at his home in Taunton, MA. Daniel was born in Brockton, MA, on Wednesday September 29, 1965, to Jean Olivia (Nilsson) Silva and the late James Albert Silva. Daniel was the loving brother of James M. Silva and his wife Joanne, and Steven W. Silva, the favorite uncle of April, Allyson, Shannen, Heather, Steven, and Christopher, and great uncle of Connor, Wesley, and Charlotte. Daniel graduated from Old Colony Regional Vocational High School in Rochester. He first worked in the family business, Nilsson-Stewart Fence Co. as an installer, and later worked for Robinson Supply Company where he was the warehouse manager. When he wasn’t working, Daniel loved carpentry, video games, card games, watching movies, playing games with his family, water and ocean events, kayaking, fishing, driving around his new car, and was a New England Patriots fan! Danny was an avid collector of lots of memorabilia including all Patriots football wear and items, old vintage cars and trucks, steins, mugs, movies, and his latest interest; Funko Pop Soda Cans. Dan had a passion for wolves, he had pictures, blankets, statues, and lots of wear that he proudly displayed. He was a true lover of nature and all that it had to offer. Dan spent his life living as a big kid...making it easy to love him. His nieces and nephews couldn’t get enough of him throughout his entire life. He made being around him FUN! Dan was truly loved by all!! Visiting hours for Dan will be held on Sunday March 27, 2022, from 4:00 – 7:00PM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. A funeral service will follow on Monday March 28, 2022, at 10:00AM at The Church of The Vine 5 Wareham Street, Carver, MA 02330. Daniel will be laid to rest in Pinehill Cemetery in West Bridgewater, MA, immediately following the church service!
