David M. Boehler

David M. Boehler, age 63, of Lakeville, MA, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at the V.A. Boston Healthcare System in West Roxbury, after a brief illness. David was born in Middleborough, MA, on Saturday, March 26, 1960, and was the son of Roberta (Fiske) Boehler and the late Donald M. Boehler. A lifelong resident of Lakeville, David graduated from Apponequet Regional High School. At the age of 18 he enlisted with the United States Navy, proudly serving from 1978 – 1982, with a rank of ENFN (Fireman, Engineman Striker). Following his honorable discharge from the US Navy, David worked for a short time on a fishing boat in North Carolina, before returning to Massachusetts to own and operate his own trucking company. He enjoyed snowmobiling and riding motorcycles. In addition to his mother Roberta of Lakeville, David is survived by his sister Donna Standish and her husband Barry of Lakeville, former wife Lisha (Saunders) Boehler of North Carolina, two stepchildren Abby and Taylor, four step grandchildren, an aunt and uncle, and numerous cousins. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service for David on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 2:00PM, at Sampson Cemetery on Bedford Street in Lakeville, followed by a reception at the Mayflower Masonic Lodge, 46 South Main Street Middleboro, MA 02346.
