Debra Ann Tringali

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra Ann Tringali, age 64, who departed peacefully on July 7, 2026, at her home in Middleboro, MA, after a courageous three-and-a-half-year battle with metastatic breast cancer. Partner for 42 years to the late Joanne Loika, she was born on December 15, 1961, in Medford, MA, and was the cherished daughter of the late James B. and Josephine E. (Nocella) Tringali.

Debi, as she was affectionately known, was a 1979 graduate of Apponequet Regional High School. She earned her L.P.N. from Shepard Gill School of Practical Nursing of Mass General Hospital in Boston in 1981 and earned her R.N. from Massasoit Community College in 2007. Debi was a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse, whose extensive career included meaningful roles at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, St. Luke's Hospital in Middleboro, and most recently in the ICU at Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA. A proud member of the Massachusetts Nurses Association, Debi passionately advocated for the well-being of her patients, leaving a lasting impact on those she cared for.

In her personal life, Debi was a vibrant spirit, enjoying painting, traveling to beautiful locations such as Hawaii and Bailey's Island, ME, and cherishing time spent with friends and family. She is survived by her brother James Tringali and his wife Lisa of Taunton, brother Steven Tringali of Lakeville, and dear friends Paul Thomas and Antone Broomhead. Debi also leaves behind her beloved children: Kent Loika of Orlando, FL, Kendra Couture and Daryle Buckley of Holiday, FL, and Kristen Campbell and husband Laurence of Lakeville. She was a proud aunt to nephews Alex Couture and his wife Elyssa Germano of Middleboro, Evan Couture of Middleboro, and Ryan Leary, and niece Cori Loika and Adie Fein of Providence, as well as niece Emily Campbell of Lakeville, and great-nephew Noah Couture.

Debi found joy in her extensive travels across the United States and expressed her creativity through painting. In her final days, her unwavering encouragement for cancer research resonated deeply with her healthcare professionals, as she strove to make a difference even amidst her challenges.

Debra will be honored during visiting hours at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, located at 280 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347, on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Following the visiting hours, a funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM. Her family invites all who knew and loved Debi to join them in celebrating her remarkable life and legacy.
