Doris A. (Griffin) Scannell

On Monday May 2, 2022, our beloved mother Doris A. (Cahill) Scannell, joined her forever love Walter R. Cahill in heaven, she was 75 years young. Doris is survived by her loving family, daughter Karen Atwood and her husband Walter, daughter Kimberly Owens and her partner Junior Johnson, daughter Pamela Butler and her husband John, daughter Jill Pereira and husband Mario, her 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, 6 siblings John Griffin, Geraldine Dunn, Stephen Griffin, Lorraine Henriques, Karen Mitchell, Bobby Griffin, along with many nieces and nephews.Doris was predeceased by her father Hubert Griffin, mother Margaret (Shea) Griffin, brother Joseph Griffin, sister Margie Hittel, grandson Brendan Butler, and her precious dog Pudgy. Visiting hours for Doris will be held on Saturday May 7, 2022, from 3:00 – 6:00PM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. A graveside service will be held in Melrose cemetery at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the A.S.P.C.A. by visiting their website at www.aspca.org.
