Edward Alston Hill

Edward Alston Hill, age 79, of Middleboro, MA, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, surrounded by his family, at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA, following an extended illness with Alzheimer's Disease. Born in Brockton, MA, on Friday September 3, 1943, Edward was the son of the late Earl "Buddy" F. Hill and the late Mildred E. (Ely) Hill. 

Following his high school graduation, Edward proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He was stationed overseas in Grass Auhiem, Germany, where he met his wife, Ursula. After his time in the Army, Mr. Hill worked as a truck driver at Producers Dairy in Brockton, MA, Willis Furniture in Brockton, and would retire from Consolidated Brick in Avon, MA. 

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ursula E. (Frischkorn) Hill, his children: Michael E. Hill of Middleboro, Carol L. Hill of South Attleboro, and Steven E. Hill of Clayton, NC. He was the brother of the late Lee F. Hill and his wife Jean Hill, and David Hill and his late wife Dorothy Hill. 

Visiting hours for Mr. Hill will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 4:00 - 7:00PM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 11:00AM also at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service in Central Cemetery in Middleboro, MA.
