Elmer L. Wing, Jr.

Elmer L. Wing, Jr. age 64, husband of Sandra (Thayer) Wing, passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 21, 2021 at his home in Middleboro. Born on Thursday September 13, 1956 in Taunton MA, he was the son of the late Elmer L. Wing Sr. and Ervilla (Haskins) Nunes.  A lifelong resident of Lakeville and most recently of Middleboro, Elmer was the former owner of E. Wing Builders and Pittsley’s Auto Salvage. He enjoyed rebuilding antique cars and racing at Seekonk Speedway, he especially loved showing off his Camaro, and motorcycle rides with his wife. In addition, he also enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and of course his puppies. In addition to his wife Sandra, Elmer is survived by his; two sons, Ronnie Gregg and Elmer L. Wing III and his fiancé Brenda Westgate, seven daughters, Patricia Sousa and her husband Jason, Jennifer Thayer, Annie Wing and her ex-husband Josh Major, Bethany St. Germain, Christina Drew-Wing and her fiancé Derek Mauricio, Lethia Eason-Tate and her wife Aria, Dominique Daily and her husband Donte, twenty-four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, six brothers and sisters along with their spouses, many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Along with his three beloved “puppies” Dora, Dolly, and Melania. Visitation will take place on Tuesday June 1, 2021 from 5:00 – 8:00PM.  A funeral service for Elmer will be held on Wednesday June 2, 2021 at 11:00AM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service in Assonet Burial Grounds.
