Ethel "Tess" (Folger) Corliss

Ethel “Tess” M. Corliss, age 93, devoted wife of the late John L. Corliss Jr, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the Sachem Center for Health and Rehabilitation in East Bridgewater, MA, following a brief illness. Born in Brockton, MA, on Tuesday, May 28, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Milton P. and Mary P. (Bumpus) Folger. Ethel attended Brockton High School, worked in the manufacturing industry, and was a resident of Stoughton, MA, for 53 years. She and her late husband John attended several Methodist Churches in the area while they were able to. Ethel loved to go camping, boating, gardening, and spending time at the cottage in Boston Harbor on Peddicks Island. Ethel is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. Ethel will be laid to rest with her late husband John, with a graveside service on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 10:15AM, at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Buzzards Bay, MA 02542.
