Francis Joseph Barbuto, Jr.

Francis “Frank” J. Barbuto Jr., of Lakeville, age 69, husband of Denise (Cavanagh) Barbuto, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday December 30, 2021. Born on Friday April 25, 1952, in East Weymouth, MA, he was the son of the late Francis J. Barbuto, Sr., and Lena Mary (Zeoli) Barbuto. In addition to his wife Denise, Frank is survived by his daughter Danielle M. Barbuto of CT, daughter Tiffany Horsman of Middleboro, son Kevin Sferrazza and his wife Candace of Braintree, and son Colin C. Dodge of Lakeville. He also was the brother of Maureen Welstead of Marietta, GA, Theresa Goodale of Hanover, and Paul Barbuto of Fall River. The grandfather of Malachy Pemberton, Anthony Barbuto, Cassidy Tan, and Jacqueline Pemberton. Frank was predeceased by his son, the late Robert T. Sferrazza. Visitation for Frank will be held on Saturday January 15, 2022, from 9:00 – 10:45AM, at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347. Followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 157 Middleboro Avenue, East Freetown, MA 02717.
