George Schaaf Obituary

George Kenneth Schaaf, age 83, of Middleboro, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, at Falmouth Hospital, following a brief illness. Born on February 18, 1942, in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, he was the cherished son of the late George P. and Lillian (Sekore) Schaaf.

George was a dedicated husband to the late Kendra (Walls) Schaaf, with whom he shared a loving marriage before her passing. A proud resident of Middleborough, he devoted many years to his career, initially working as a body shop foreman at Paul Clark Ford before transitioning to his role as an auto insurance adjuster at CNA Insurance.

Outside of his professional life, George embraced nature and enjoyed activities such as camping, boating, and hunting. His passion for the outdoors and zest for life were evident to all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Karen Duarte, and her husband, Joseph; his son, Michael Schaaf, and his companion, Karen Moskal; and his cherished grandsons, Joseph Duarte and his wife Heather, and Joshua Duarte, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

George's remarkable wit, infectious humor, and deep adoration for his family will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Funeral services and ceremonies will be held privately for his family, ensuring that those closest to George can honor his memory in a personal and compassionate setting. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support shown during this time of sorrow.

May his spirit find peace and tranquility, and may his memory forever live on in the hearts of those he loved.
