Glenn A. Rich Jr

Glenn A. Rich Jr, age 74, devoted husband for 19 years of Linda L. (Griswold) Rich, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at his home in East Taunton following a long illness. Born in Worcester, MA, on Friday, February 18, 1949, he was the son of the late Glenn A. Rich Sr, and the late Lillian M. (Castonquay) Rich, and was also the stepson of the late Lillian C. (Paradise) Rich.

Glenn grew up and lived in Worcester, MA until 2003 when he moved to East Taunton with his wife Linda. Early on Glenn was a volunteer for the Leicester and Spencer, MA, fire department and ambulance. He then worked for the John Bathe Company before moving on to work for the Worcester Fire Department dispatch center until his retirement.

In addition to his wife Linda, Glenn is survived by his son Glenn Rich of Spencer, MA, daughter Dawn Rich of Bourne, MA, stepsons Michael Kitchen of Maryland, and Richard Kitchen of Assonet, MA, six grandchildren Trent, Kambree, Evey, Liam, and the late Bryanna Kitchen. He was also the brother of Elaine Guerin and her husband David of North Oxford, MA.

Glenn’s family would like to sincerely thank Alexis and Nicole (crash) of Compassionate Care Hospice for their unwavering devotion and care of Glenn.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation for Glenn on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 10:00-11:00AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM, at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. Glenn will be laid to rest in Central Cemetery in Middleboro following the funeral service.
