James Allen Dooley of Lakeville, MA, passed away on Friday October 31, 2025, at the age of 67. Son of Hazel (Campbell) Dooley and the late Bill Dooley, he is survived by his three sisters: Kathy, Marie, and Billy-Jean, his son Justin Dooley, and his three grandchildren Liam, Grace, and Mae. James was predeceased by his son Billy Dooley. Known as Jimmy, Kayro, or a CB handle we're not going to share here, this man was a dreamer, curious, and kind. He wasn't one for details and proudly missed the internet entirely. This was challenging for many women, employers, and any governmental authority with three letters, all of whom he gave fits. Small children and animals on the other hand understood him just fine. Always up for adventure or a new project, he followed his heart. His years in trucks had him see every corner of this country and left him with many a story, which he delighted in telling. If it had wheels or tracks, he could drive it, and he spent a good chunk of his life fiddling with one machine or another. He was always proud of his two boys, and his grandson who was frequently at his side in his later years. For Jimmy life was easy come, easy go, it's fitting then that he slipped off in his sleep, no doubt dreaming of whatever adventure was next. A celebration of Life for James will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 2:00-5:00PM, at the Stoneforge Tavern & Publick House, 90 Paramount Drive, Raynham, MA 02767.
