James Edward Richardi, Jr.

James E. Richardi, Jr., age 61, husband of Jeanne M. (Jarrett) Richardi, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday July 4, 2021.  Born on Monday May 9, 1960 in Boston, MA, he was the son of James E. Sr. and Carol I. (Ledig) Richardi. Jim graduated from Boston Trade High School and attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. Jim grew up in Dorchester and then was a resident of Middleboro and Lakeville, MA, since 1989. Jim worked as a Heavy Rail Maintenance Repairer and Instructor for 29½  years for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and was a member of the Boston Carmen’s Amalgamated Transit Union Local 589. Jim and his wife Jeanne were members of the Rock Village Church in South Middleboro, MA, and he will be sorely missed by his church family. He  loved his wife, his family and his friends dearly, and especially his cat “Psycho Babes” who held a special place in his heart. He enjoyed smooth jazz, camping, traveling, gadgets of all kinds, his Harley, Davidson, Ruckus and RV, anything electronic and was a Boston Bruins fan. Jim was a kind and  loving husband, son, father, brother and brother in Christ. In addition to his wife Jeanne, and his parents James and Carol, Jim is survived by his: son James E. Richard, III and his wife Carolyn of Plymouth, daughter Ashley M. Richardi of Wareham, grandchildren Maddisen Borel, Jayden, Ryder, and Isabella Richardi, brother David P. Richardi and his partner Jennifer Burns of Lakeville, MA,  his aunt June Hoyt of Bridgewater, niece and nephews Ariel and Logan Davies and Jackson Jarrett  as well as close friends Chloe Sullivan and Tyler Burke.  Public visitation was held on Wednesday July 14, 2021 from 3:00 – 6:00PM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. A private graveside service was held on Thursday July 15, 2021. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Jim's  name may be sent to the Rock Village Church, 92 Miller Street Middleboro, MA 02346.
