Jeananne Lillie Roberson, age 89, of Middleboro, MA, gently departed this world on September 23, 2025, at her home in Middleboro. Born on April 18, 1936, in New Bedford, MA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ernest A. and Jennie A. (Perry) Lizotte, and the devoted wife of the late Terry L. Roberson, Sr.
Jeananne took great pride in her work in the cutting room at Alden Shoe, contributing to a legacy of craftsmanship and dedication within the shoe industry.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Diana Roberson, and her husband William. Jeananne's family extends to her siblings, Anita Sisson, Edwin Lizotte, Linda Stephens and her husband Joseph. She was a proud grandmother to Colleen Linning and her husband Parker, LeeAnn Roberson, George Roberson, Quentin Roberson, Graham Roberson, Maxwell Linning, and Rowan and Flynn Linning. Her legacy also includes nieces, nephews; Steven Sisson, Debra Sisson, Bonnie Lewis, Joseph Stephens, David Lewis Jr, Nickolas Sisson, Brenda Rose, Philip Sisson, Jeremy Sisson, and great-great-nieces and nephews, and cousins, all of whom were fortunate to know her warmth and generosity. She was pre-deceased by her son Terry L. Roberson Jr, and niece Darlene Sisson.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, located at 280 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Jeananne's remarkable life and the profound impact she had on all who knew her. Following the memorial service, a committal service will take place at the Parish Cemetery at The Green in Middleboro.
