Jeanne M. (LaTremouille) Damon, 78, wife of the late Richard L. Damon, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis after a long illness. Born on March 18, 1946, in Cambridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Phyllis (Ladner) LaTremouille. Raised in Brockton, Jeanne was a 1964 graduate of Brockton High School and a resident of Halifax. She served as a quality control inspector at Lockheed-Martin Company for over two decades. Jeanne had a passion for painting, bowling, and rescuing stray cats, birds, and wildlife. She always looked forward to her annual trip to Roger Williams Zoo with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves behind her son Paul S. Damon and his wife Cynthia, daughter Melissa McNeil and her husband Brian, grandchildren Ashley Mendonca and her husband Paul, Tim McNeil, Scott Damon and his wife Elizabeth, Sarah Walsh and her husband Tom, Nicholas Damon and his fiancée Renee McDade, great-grandchildren Leona and Margaret Mendonca, brothers Gerry LaTremouille and his wife Bonnie, George LaTremouille and his wife Mary, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her brother Robert LaTremouille preceded her in death. Visitation for Jeanne will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347. A funeral home service will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment alongside her husband Richard will follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
