Joan E. (Reade) Luppino

Joan E. (Reade) Luppino, age 88 of East Taunton, formerly of Stoughton, wife of the late Rocco “Roy” Luppino, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Friday April 30, 2021. Joan was born in Waltham on Friday August 12, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Otis and Alice (Mullen) Reade. Joan leaves a long legacy as she is survived by; her 9 children, Roy Luppino Jr. and his wife Barbara of Brockton, William Luppino of St. Thomas U.S.V.I., Alyce Luppino of Stoughton, Joseph Luppino Sr. and his wife Mary of Ft. Lauderdale FL, Paul Luppino Sr., and his wife Mary of Brockton, Robert Luppino of Woonsocket RI,  Karyn (Luppino) Resende of Stoughton, Michael Luppino and his wife Carol of East Taunton, and Tracy (Luppino) Flood and her husband Scott of Brockton, her 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, sister Doris (Reade) Chiasson and her husband Gerard of Nashua NH, and brother Richard Reade and his wife Carole of Nashua NH. Joan gave birth to 2 boys, and a girl who unfortunately passed away shortly after their birth.  Joan served over 30 years at the District 5 VFW Auxiliary President and the Avon VFW Auxiliary President and Treasurer. She was an avid reader who enjoyed playing bingo, watching game shows, doing word search puzzles, and playing music on her record player. Joan was the ultimate babysitter as she spent countless days watching her grandchildren. Joan’s entire family would like to thank the staff at Life Care Center of Raynham for the exceptional care and support they provided Joan over the past 2 years. A funeral service for Joan will be held on Thursday May 6, 2021 at 11:00AM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. Visitation will take place on Wednesday May 5, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00pm. Joan will be laid to rest with her late husband Roy at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne following the funeral service on Thursday.
