It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John F. Lynch, age 80, husband of the late Mary Jane (Adams) Lynch, who departed this life on March 27, 2026, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA. Born on May 21, 1945, in Brockton, MA, John was the beloved son of the late John T. and Una M. (Keene) Lynch.

A proud resident of Lakeville, MA, John led a life characterized by dedication, service, and profound contributions to his community and profession. After earning his bachelor's degree from Providence College and a master's degree from Bryant University, John served honorably in the United States Army. He would later share his expertise as a Senior Director of Contracting with Starwoods Hotels, where he was a valued member of several organizations, including Sheraton, Howard Johnson, Homestead Village, HSupply.com, and Canteen Corporation. Additionally, John served on the Lakeville Planning Board, demonstrating his commitment to enriching his community.

In his personal life, John had a passion for woodworking and enjoyed stamp collecting, savoring cigars, and spending cherished moments on vacations with his family. His faith as a Catholic guided him throughout his life, fostering a spirit of kindness and compassion towards all.

John is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Pereira, her husband Dan and daughter, Riley Pereira of Beverly, MA; his son, Adam Lynch and his wife, Heather, his daughter Teagan Lynch, and son Chase Lynch; of Lakeville MA , and his daughter Amy Bishop and her husband, Brian, and sons Connor and Davis Bishop; of Georgia.

A service to celebrate and honor John's remarkable life will be held at a future date, to be announced. Family and friends are invited to join in remembrance of John, a man who touched the lives of many and will be sorely missed.

In this time of mourning, let us remember John's legacy of love, generosity, and unwavering spirit. May he rest in peace.
