John Francis Sullivan

John F. Sullivan, age 54, devoted husband of 27 years to Brenda L. (Keith) Sullivan, passed away Thursday April 28, 2022, at Mass General Hospital in Boston, following an eight month period of failing health. Born in Lynn, MA, on Wednesday November 22, 1967, John was the son of the late Francis T. and Lillian (Botticelli) Sullivan. John grew up in Lakeville, MA, graduating from Apponequet Regional High School, class of 1985. After high school, John proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. John worked as a H.V.A.C. Technician as a member of the Local 537, Pipe Fitters Union. Faith played a huge role in John’s life, and he was a founding member of the Lakeville Christian Fellowship Church. John had other interests as well, he was a big car enthusiast. He had a 1976 TransAm that he was restoring. He also was a talented home beer brewer, sharing his home brew with his friends and family. When he wasn’t working on his TransAm or brewing beer, John enjoyed flying RC airplanes as a member of several different area RC clubs. In addition to his wife Brenda, John is survived by his three children David, John Jr., and Katherine, sister Linda Santos and her husband Alan of Middleboro, brother Michael Sullivan and his wife Lynn of Lakeville, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and church family. Visiting hours for John will be held on Friday May 6, 2022, from 5:00 – 8:00PM at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 7, 2022, at 10:00AM in the Veteran’s section of Thompson Hill Cemetery on Rhode Island Road in Lakeville, followed by a Celebration of Life at Lakeville Christian Fellowship Church located at 1 Wind Rush Hollow Road in Lakeville, MA 02347.
