Joseph Michael "Papa Joe" Theriault, 65, of Middleboro, Massachusetts, passed away on November 16, 2025, in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Born on August 15, 1960, in Boston, Massachusetts, Joe was a lifelong resident of the state he loved. He graduated from Southeastern Vocational Technical High School in 1978 and went on to build a career in construction/ truck driver-professions that reflected his strong work ethic and hands-on spirit.
Joe was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jacqueline (Perkins) Theriault of Middleboro; his son Joshua Theriault of Middleboro; his son Timothy Theriault and daughter-in-law Samantha of Rochester; and his daughter Stephanie Farquharson and son-in-law Jeremy of Carver. Grandson Nolan Farquharson and Granddaughter Rylee Farquharson of Carver.
Known affectionately as "Papa Joe," he found immense joy in being a grandfather. Friday night sleepovers with his grandchildren were among his most treasured traditions. Saturdays were often spent at Fishers with his beloved Fisher family-a community that brought him great happiness and camaraderie. In his younger years, Joe had a passion for ice fishing, and throughout his life he maintained a deep appreciation for trucks, especially enjoying time behind the wheel.
Above all else, Joe valued time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His presence brought warmth and laughter to every gathering.
