Judy L. (Fied) Rogers

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Judy L. Rogers, age 80, beloved wife of Hugh J. Rogers Sr., who departed this life on March 4, 2025, at Sachem Center for Health & Rehabilitation in East Bridgewater, following a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Born on November 1, 1944, in Attleboro, MA, she was the cherished daughter of the late Norman Fied and Doris Choquette.

A long-time resident of Lakeville, MA, Judy's spirit was equally at home in the sunny climates of Largo, FL, where she spent her winters. For many years, she dedicated herself to the family business, Captain Bubs Marina in Lakeville, where her meticulous bookkeeping kept the operation running smoothly. Judy also owned and operated Creedon's Florist Shop in Middleborough, using her talent for floral design to bring beauty to many special occasions.

Judy was known for her love of gardening and decorating, and she took great delight in attending auctions, where her passion for collecting blossomed. She was a nurturing mother, a devoted grandmother, and an adoring great-grandmother. In addition to her husband Hugh of 54 years, Judy leaves behind her daughters Laurie A. Rogers of New Bedford, MA; Bethany L. Beatty and her husband Thomas of Watertown, NY; Kelly L. Rodrigue and her husband John of Salem, NH; and Denise M. Beal of Dexter, ME. She also leaves her pride and joy, son Hugh J. Rogers Jr. and his wife Amy of East Freetown, MA. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Kara, Nikkolas, Brittney, Ian, Allyson, Nathan, Kayla, Chloe, and Kathryn, along with her adored great-grandchildren: Aiden, Aurora, and Grace. Judy was predeceased by her baby daughter, Deborah Marie.
